It should only be illegal after a certain amount of time within the pregnancy. It is ridiculous that a pregnant woman can kill a baby six months along. People actually have their children at 5 months and the child lives.
Yes same sex marriage should be ok. Glad it is in the starting mode with the bill halfway passed.

Abortion should not necessarily be illegal persey, but I think there need to be some strict guidelines. Personally I don't think I could ever do it, but I also can't be the woman who was a victim of a violent rape that she needs a nine month reminder of it either. On the other hand, I don't think a 14 year old should think that she has a way out of "experimenting" with sex (believe it, I'm quoting a student of mine). I believe that in New Jersey, you can have 2 legally. But what's stopping someone from "crossing the border" to New York? And records aren't checked. People don't seem to understand that abortions are dangerous, and they can do damage, even if done correctly.
As for same sex marriage... WHO CARES... If people are happy, their happy... and it doesn't really matter who it's with. I think that ANY legal (by legal I mean 2 consenting adults) couple should have the right to express and cement their feelings. Should we say that inter-racial relationships shouldn't have the right to get married? It's ridiculous!

No. I believe life begins at conception & to have an abortion is murder. I don't believe it should be legal under any circumstances. As long as it is legal, however, it shouldn't be legal after the first trimester - as the law was passed initially. Partial birth abortions are abhorrent. My god, babies who are born that early usually survive.
I also don't believe in same sex marriage. Although I believe in live and let live, I also believe in the morals as taught in the bible. Therefore, I believe marriage is a sacrament which is performed between a man and woman. Nor do I believe that insurance or any other benefits should be bestowed from one partner to another.
I do think, however, the gays should be protected in the workplace against discrimination & that they should be able to serve in the military service without fear of being discharged & that they should be able to adopt children. Actually, I believe that they should enjoy the same freedoms as everyone else with the exception of marriage & anything which comes as a result of it.
I also believe that these issues are moral issues made political as well. The laws came about as a result of pressure from people who did not see them as moral issues. And congressmen passed them because they either agreed or would afraid to lose votes.

i don't believe in same sex marriage. i think it is morally wrong. With the abortion topic, i think a woman has a right to choose. Not that i agree with it, but it certain cases where rape is in the picture i can definitely try to understand not wanting to have the baby. To me a baby should be made out of love, not hate. And down the road i wouldn't want my child to find out he or she was conceived through such a horrible crime. So I definitely think that a woman has the right to choose on that.

I think the answer to the abortion issue is a Constitutional amendment that gives full rights to the fetus. That would make all abortions illegal. I know that is not going to happen in America. I really think the abortion issue is just used by each party to secure their bases. Nothing is going to change significantly in abortion law without changing the Constitutional status of the unborn. That's my opinion of course.
I really don't care if gays can marry or not. If there has to be a law one way or the other I'd say let them get married. I don't see what harm it does to anyone.

abortion i believe should not be illegal because although you're killing a child it is hard for teenage parents to deal with the responsibilites of parenthood. especially those under the age of 18.
Same sex marriage should not be illegal because although im straight when people are gay thats just how they are & the government should make 2 gay peoplez fall in love cause they dont agree with them and understand there way of thinking

nope, im all about free choice. who's to say whether or not i should have a child? what would you do if a woman was raped and she got pregnant and couldnt have an abortion? that child would be a constant reminder of what happened to her. as for same sex, it should be legal. why does it matter? and why the hell do people have to bring the bible into political matters when trying to keep same sex marriage illegal? what ever happened to separation of church and state?? i know i dont want some religion making a change in government laws just because they think its wrong according to their faith.

In certain cases, abortion should be legaMF They are:
1. First trimester.
2. For the life of the mother, or if it will cause debilitating health effects on the mother.
3. In the cases of rape or incest.
Same sex marriage - yes. It really shouldn't be anybody's business but the parties involved. Leave them be.

I do believe abortion is wrong and Gay marriage. Abortion yes should be banned, Gay marriage Depends. Let a group of Gay men go on one island and Gay women go on another with no contact to outside life. Give them everything to survive. All the shopping malls fast food joints everything. If there are any living humans in a couple of hundred years then Yes it should be legal if not then no.

Both are Wrong. The Bible says they are wrong and that Should be our guideline to our answers.
Abortion is used too much *** Just for Birth Contol and it's murder....a tiny heart starts beating very early and it develops into a baby.........not a tadpole .........a Human .
God set the plan in motion.........Adam and Eve.............not Steve and Steve. He destroyed Sodom and Gomorrah because of gays and at the end of the Bible, it says there shall be none in Heaven ---See Revelation. (unless they truly repent.)
