I have a Gateway GT5058 and I want to overclock but I cannot find anything in the BIOS to allow overclocking. I have a Foxconn C51GU01 in the comp, please help but dont scold me I don't care that you say its horrible for my computer I just want help

There doesn't seem to be any jumpers other than the clear CMOS so if the option is not in the setup and no documented way of specifying CPU speed in the manuals.

It seems your motherboard automatically detects it and that's it.

Either flash (update) your BIOS to a newer version, or check to see if the overclocking is done through hardware, (jumpers) on the mainboard itself.

Parramatta eels suck lol , typhoon and billy slater own . yea um nicely you should use a touch software referred to as rivaturner . yet guy, i dont reckon u might want to attempt over clock it, and dont do in basic terms it after someone on hear tells you techniques to . u more effective perfect head to google and rid a lot about it till now attempting or say bye bye a ffew hundred money lol. good luck
