I think so, because they can at least recognize a letter and since the letters are all jumbled in the soup and the soup's purpose is to nourish and not spell out anything, then yes, they do.

No. They are able to absorb the Vitamin A and Vitamin D that are prevalent in the soup. But the thiamine and B12 are lost on them.

That's a very good question! LOL. I've also wondered why they advertised those hooked on phonics the way they do! I always crack up when I hear the announcer say "So, call now! The number is 1-800-abcdefg!" I mean, come on, now! LOL
