Nightmare on Elm Street!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I was probably about 10 years old and my cousin/babysitter let me watch it. We spent the rest of the night locked in my moms room on the bed scared about every noise we heard (typical house noises). We prayed ourselves to sleep hoping that my mom would be home soon. I still hate to see his face and I'm just about 30. Wow- that was 20 years ago!!

Carrie, I was 6 or 7. after that I did not want to see another "scary"movie. Not until I learned about Special effects then I wondered how the effects were done.sort of ruined horror flix for me.

Probably a Jason movie or something when I was little... or Chucky... I can't remember...

...as for being *REALLY* scared by a movie, that would be "The Devils Rejects"... at 19 (Yeah... watching people get their faces skinned off is pretty scary stuff...)

The first was Return of the Jedi when I was 6. The emperor was scary. The last was Ju On which is the Japanese version of the grudge. It plays games with your head afterwards.

I don't remember how old I was when I first saw the Wizard of Oz on TV, but those little flying monkeys scared the heck out of me.

It wasn't my first scary movie, but at first I was scared when my older sisters took me to see E.T., for some reason I thought it was a horror movie.
