What is the essential basis for ideas of wtc conspiracy?

wtc conspiracy theorists appear to concoct any sort of statistically unlikely coincidence to support unlikely accusations....."somebody is withholding the truth etc"......since simple physics can explain the apparent truth with only a few basic assumptions......why the ranting and apparent anguish? forgive me...just a curious scientist.

There were lot of confussion and failures, but its complex event that can be interpreted in different ways.

I did notice flat out lies by 911 theories. I give you one example. They say hijackers are found alive in UK. I saw those articles, but authorities also said they're likely to used fake ids. That's why live people were identified as hijackers and not because it was made up. That's why they were not arrested. Not hard to believe criminals use fake ids.

It is easy for you to get impressed by all the experts because you know nothing about what they say. You're not physicist or construction expert. Remember there are those(experts) who show why 911 theories are wrong or just flat out lies.

Conspiracy theorists feed off conspiracy. 9/11 provides a thousand avenues. I saw the attack on the Pentagon firsthand. No matter how many conspiracy theorists say a plane did not hit the Pentagon, I was there, it did. As for the WTC, follow the same line of reasoning.

Your question seems to have a flaw in that you say "simple physics can explain the apparent truth with only a few basic assumptions." Schoppenhauer said the truth passes through 3 stages. First it is ridiculed. Second it is violently opposed. Third, it finally accepted. I detect a hint of ridicule in your question, so I respectfully offer this response which may help you get a deeper understanding of why people have questioned the events of 9/11.

Certianly, there are multiple theories out there to research. We need to look at the ones that are rooted in the fundamentals of scientific inquiry. Granted, the official story of 9/11 by the Commission had the daunting task of answering many these questions. But what some serious scholars have done is to examine the story that was accepted by the 9/11 Commission and examine not just the conclusions, but the absence of basic questions surrounding the events and circumstance around the attacks as well as the way our government handled it afterwards.

With this in mind, look at the definition of conspiracy which is "an agreement to perform an illegal, wrongful, or subversive act." (American Heritage) What the 9/11 Commission concluded was indeed a conspiracy - 19 terrorists with the aid of Al Queda conspired over time to hijack four airlines and attack American business and defense structures.

However, there still remain unanswered questions which may show that other parties were responsible either for the attacks themselves, or the cover-up of certian evidence afterwards.

As mentioned before, there are many theories out there that range in terms of seriousness and plausibility. Much time, effort, and logic is required on the part of a person such as yourself who is curious about these things. But I would argue that to passively accept the official story that has been drafted is likely to leave you without the complete truth. So let's examine a few of the questions which are still lacking official conclusions:

1) the debris of all the WTC buildings was shipped off to Asia before the investigation was officially opened. Think of this from the point of view of an insurance underwriting company, or an engineer, or an architect who would expect to have access to the debris to fully investigate how and why the structural integrity of these building was comprimised. If you search what happened to a United Laboratories investigator when he challenged the fire theory as the reason for the steel's failure, you may be surprised. In truth, this was the biggest destruction of criminal evidence in US history - a major federal offense. Why were they so quick to ship the steel to be melted overseas? Who was responsible for the destruction of this evidence? And why was the current administration so admantly opposed to an investigation from the onset?

2) WTC 7, a 47 story buliding collpased symetrically in free fall speed from fire, so we are told. Interestingly, this is this an engineering anomaly that has never happened before in the history of architecture. No steel structure building has ever collapsed from fire alone. Furthermore, neither the 9/11 Commission or FEMA explored this collapse in their reports? Conspiracy theorists aside, look at this from a business and an engineering perspective. This information would be vital in the future planning and construction of buildings. The collapse itself is strange when examined on video. As mentioned before, it collapsed symetrically in free fall speed. For this to have happened, each steel core column of the building would have to have been timed to give way for this to have happened. Fire should have been burning evenly at the same temperature throught the entire building for this theory to be accepted.

3) There are dozens, if not hundreds of reports from civilians, firefighters, police officers, and news reporters who claim to have heard explosions in the half minute or so before each of the tower collapses. There is also seismic evidence that is consistent with explosions or earthquake tremors which was resgistered in the seconds before each of the collapses. Why wasn't this investigated? Did the planes have bombs on them? Or is it possible that there were bombs already in each of the buildings?

4) What explains the pyroclastic dust clouds from the collapse of the Twin Towers as well as WTC 7? There are recordings and video proof that the cement and office materials in these buildings were completely pulverized. Fire alone cannot explain this. What caused these structures, excluding the steel, to be reduced to dust? Since this is consistent with explosions, why not investigate this possibility? It's too late now since the evidence was deliberately destroyed.

5) How did the US air defense system fail to follow standard procedures in responding to diverted and unresponsive passenger flights? What explains the strange coincidence that more "war-games" drills were being conducted by government agencies on 9/11 than any other day of the year? How is it that the official timeline of the various agencies in charge that day - NORAD, FAA, Pentagon, USAF, as well as the 9/11 Commission - gave extremely different accounts for the failure of our air defense that day? Under testimony, these stories have changed dramatically. If this was any other court case, the usual appaoch would be to repopen the investigation. One must ask, was there a deliberate air defense standdown? If so, who was responsible?

These are just a handful of the legitimate questions that remain. If a corporation were responsible for the deaths of nearly 3,000 Americans, we can assume that there would be a thorough investigation. We would also expect for people to be held accountable, fired, or put in jail. No one has been held accountable for the defense failures of 9/11. Why?

As I stated above, I suspect the nature of your questiuon indicates some pre-conceived ideas already. I hope you don't have your mind made up from reading this. If you are to genuinely approach this with the effort and dilligence that others have demonstrated in seeking the truth to this tragedy, you may learn something. My own thinking has changed dramatically over the past five years. Keep a scientific mind and examine this as any other forensics investigator would and you might see that the real conspiracy goes beyond the one we were told to believe.
