I've been looking all over the internet to find good anime avatars, and I can't find any! I found a good one awhile ago, but I can't remember here. WHERE DO PEOPLE GET ANIME AVATARS?!?!?

Oh, that's easy.
LiveJournal, of course. There's a plethora of iconmakers there and you're bound to find an anime avatar to suit. Search for "icon" or "avatar" or "userpic" in the communities.

Theres a ton of great anime and cartoon avatars at http://avatars.oc2.org . Many are inanimate but there are also many animated ones, especially from Bleach, Inuyasha, as well as many other anime series that are not as popular in America.
