Some guys like porn for they same reason that some women like romance novels. Guys are stimulated visually and women are stimulated emotionally.

I am a man, and while I've watched porn, I've only done it when not in a relationship. I've asked other guys what's the point of paying good money to watch someone else have fun, and the answer has generally been the same: they want to experience, vicariously, something they need, but which they don't feel they can trust their significant other enough for which to ask. Many wives object to performing oral sex, and suppose your husband wanted to be tied up, or spanked, or wanted to do that to you, would you want to know, or would you rather he watched porn and masturbated, or visited a prostitute or dominatrix to get what he couldn't get from you? I am not defending infidelity, quite the contrary, I believe that marriage vows are sacred, but should you take them without first giving a total, and truly honest, explanation of for what you are looking? Maybe this makes no sense to women, but it's the best I can do concerning a complex subject.

For men this is normal, but few women know why. It is all in the genes.
In the case of a male the best way to continue the species is for the man to breed quickly and with as many women as possible. From the point they reach their teens and on to almost death men are thinking about sex at least 52% of the time (from an episode of 20/20 on ABC aired on Sept 30,2006).
This is why a picture of a hot woman is enough to get many men sexually aroused. Men need sex as much as women need to talk, since relationships are the most important thing in a woman's life.
Your guy is not trying to cheat on you, he is trying to relieve the tension caused by a very strong need for sex. Your guy is not so much doing this behind your back as he is trying to not offend you.
If you ask most guys they will feel a need for sex at least once every two days, probably more than 10 times then the average woman feels a need for sex. This comes from their genes and is a survival tactic for the species that was designed into the system since before Og knew what fire was, or how to use a rock.

Personally I rare to never watch porn. Like anything else if saturated enough it ceases to be be such a novelty.
However on the subject of relationships and porn, in the majority of my relationships I rarely watched porn. And if I did it was on rare occasion that we did together to spice things up.
Again, personally I do not watch porn anymore but if I did have a girlfriend I would be even less likely than I would now that I am single.

A lot of guys get a kick out of porn. Some more than others. It doesn't really matter what type of guy they are, or their relationship status, but most guys enjoy it. It's just a fact of life, we like to see flesh, and a lot of it lol. Depends on theindividual i guess. If your partener is watching a few too many blue movies or whatever, have a word to him about it, tell him that you don't like it and maybe he'll listen. Best of luck

I'm not a man. But the answer is yes. Porn is just visual stimulation. It's titillating. I looked at porn WITH the man I lived with...and also without him. It's just visual stimulation...food for fantasy. Get over the taboos associated with it and realize that it is what it is. You might even like it -

Just thought I would throw in that not every man does.... but, I am a female so I can't really answer your question... but not every man watches porn (now... as for *likes* to see porn, well... thats human nature, but some men do actually have enough respect for their partners not to watch it.)

I enjoy it but not behind their backs. If she wants to watch, which many do, I do. If Iam in a relationship I do it just for some change in pace. Alot of women seem to like one thing and stick with what they are comfortable. So it helps the fantasy a little.

absolutely normal for a guy. Dont feel slighted by him doing this. Us guys are very sexual and if we screwed you ladies as much as we wanted , you would never walk. Sometimes we watch porn to give you a break. We watch porn because its like shopping to you, It makes us feel good. I been married 26 years and read or watch porn still. I love my wife to death and hope never to be without her. She is my best friend and lover. I dont want to be with another . So if you think hes wanting someone or something else , be calm. Because he probably loves you. Give him a break.

Curiosity takes the upper of most men. No harm in watching porn for that reason.
