my board is an intel d102ggc2 and has the ati x200 chipset, but has a pci-e x16 and a pci-e x1. All the ati cards eg: x800 are pci-e x16, what do I put in the x1 slot. Ati website says all you need is a ce chipset on mobo, and two ce ready cards?

You can't do Crossfire on that board. As for what you put in the PCIe 1x, nothing much that I know of, supposedly those are going to replace the old PCI slots, but it hasn't really happened yet.

I think you want to put another graphic card in right? Anyways no that want work you need two x16 lanes for the graphic cards. If your motherboard could support SLI or Crossfire then it should have two x16 lanes. I hate SLI and Crossfire its just a way they make you buy two cards. Besides they will have to go to dual core GPU soon so why bother?
