It probably isn't D. The Dutch didn't send over missionaries.

The Spanish did. The Jesuits came over with the explorers on the ships.So, I say B: Spanish.

The French also brought missionaries (The Jesuits also came with the French) Marquette brought the Jesuits with him when he explored the northern part of what is now the U.S. and Canada.

The English also brought Christianity.When they colonized America.
The Puritans came over with their own "brand" of Christianity.
