I have tried both of your answers and nothing!!

Many web-browsers allow you to specify the font over-riding their settings.

For Internet Explorer try:
Tools >>> Internet Options
General (tab)
Click Accessibility
Click Ignore font sizes specified on web pages
Then click OK twice (once to OK the accessibility window and again to exit the Internet Properties window.)
Then you can set the font size using View >>> text size >>> (your choice)

Now some web-pages use what are known as Cascading style sheets to set the font sizes. So some sites may follow this rule and others may not. To override the text size for all websites with or without style sheets use the following:
Keep the ignore font sizes specified on web pages clicked as above and do the following:
1) Open notepad on your computer
2) Type the following line exactly note the 14 is the text size, set it to what you wish (or copy it):
* {font-size: 14pt} !important;
3) Save it using the following settings to a folder of your choice
- "File name" = text.css
- "Save as type" = all files
4) On the same Accessibility button as above:
- Click on Format documents using my style sheet
- Browse to find your text.css file
- Click your file and say open
5) Click OK twice to exit.

1. Go up to the top taskbar and select View and click and hold down.
2. Slide down to text size.
3. Choose the one you want.

bout the only thing i can suggest would be to right click on your desktop then click properties and then click on the appearance box and make sure you check in the effects and advanced boxes to and also the settings box after you do the apperance box .Make sure every thing is set the way you like it and dont forget to hit apply or it may not work .
