Trickster Online
-> Translation is not top-notch though. And the avaters are all Super-Deforms.
Maple Story
-> Unless you absolutely hate SD's and maps that resemble a Mario game. It's amusing when you die from falling off a high place though,
Flyff
-> One thing that sets it apart from other RPG's is the flying ability, but other than that leveling could get quite tedious.
Hero Online
-> Last time I checked, it's still in Beta. Great graphics, just not the greatest anyways. It's only game I know that forces you to run all the way back to town and do a fetch quest every two levels, and gasp, you do drop in levels if you're stupid enough. And you would have to do the quest again.
Edit: Water Margin Online
-> Quite 'new' and empty.
And then there's Battleon.com and DragonFable, and I don't really want to mention Runescape or any other pet games.

Well, Ragnarok Online is partly free if you play a private server.
www.animaRO.com is rated the best Ragnarok private server.
Ok. Here are all the free MMO's that I know.
PangYa - Albatross18.com
Maple Story - MapleStory.com
GunZ: The Duel - GunZonline.com
Audition: Dance Battle - (Since we don't own an American version just yet, you can play the South Eastern Asian version for
now since it still speaks English) www.auditionsea.com

There are a lot of free RPG's out there. Check MMORPG.com for a huge list.
A couple I've played or known people who've played.
SilkRoad Online: quite good.
Shadowbane: a previously commercial game that is now free not for everyone. lots of hardcore ganking

As far as RPG games go, I would check out MythicReign. It is a brand new game, lots of pvp and other activities as well such as quests, guilds, and daily challenges. It is free to play and there is no download required. You can check it out here-
