No you don't keep waiting and praying! You deserve better than that you're going to keep waiting and your life is going to just pass by. You should be out there trying to find someone who actually RESPECTS you!!! Then do everything in your power to make the spouses life a living...

My answer will probably seem harsh, and can be tempered by only one fact if it exists: if a spouse makes a mistake and comes to you ONCE, asking full forgiveness and is willing to do everything it takes to set it right, AND you have children, then it may be worth continuing on.

If it is an ongoing affair that you discovered, and there is not an overwhelmingly good reason for you to stay, then you don't really want to stay with an unfaithful man. Seems harsh, but if you stay with him, you risk infection not just from him, but from every partner that his paramour has ever had, and I don't think you really want to stand in line waiting for an STD.

There are men out there that don't cheat, and who love their wives monogamously and with their whole hearts. Get rid of the garbage and find one of them. You deserve it.

It's up to you. You're the only one that knows your situation. Do you have an income, can you get out on your own, do you have kids, etc? Ask him to move out and have the "other one" take him in if you can handle the home yourself.

OR

If it's only you and he and you have the resources to be on your own....then go! File for separation if you have to and then divorce.

You may have other factors that will force you to stay when you don't want to or maybe you do want to stay. I've found that once you peg a liar/cheater, they generally never change. The grass will always be greener on the other side of everywhere.

If you know that your spouse is cheating then you need to decide the best action to take. Make sure you and able to handle things on your own if you have kids to support. No one should just sit around and pray that things will get better. Dont get me wrong there isnt anything wrong with prayer but you need to help yourself as well.

If my husband cheated on me I would first ask him kindly if he is cheating. If he lies to me that just makes it worse. I would stay with him and try to work my marriage out and find out what is making him want to cheat. If that does not work I will pray to god to lead me to the right decison. Most likely I would have to leave because I don't want my children which are girls to be around this filth.

it's not easy to find out that your spouse is cheating. when i found out, i was very mad.you should take a couple of days away from each other and then talk about it. its easy for someone to say "forgive and forget" if it never happened to them. but when you talk it out, don't be upset. be civil. don't think that it's all you. that your the reason that he/she went out and did what they did. sometimes when someone cheats its their own insecurities.but i would give it a couple of days, then talk. if you don't see any changes, then leave. you shouldn't waste your time if their not willing to change

well if i found out my spouse was cheating on me, there would be nothing to discuss , until medical tests proved she did not have aids. because i would have no idea who she cheated on or who her new partner was with before he was with her.. this would have to be the first concern in today society. that would mean that their would be not sexual relationship until that question was answered. it would also give me time to decide whether or not she has been truly regretting her actions, and changed or not. during this time we would have to be working on rebuilding the trust because she would have destroyed it, and the unknown factor is i don't know until i have gone threw it whether or not it can be rebuilt. it takes two to make a marriage work, it takes on to destroy it.

if they were remorseful, and agreed to seek help, than i would see that they were meeting me half way, and maybe there was somewhere to go with the marriage, but on the other hand, if they left me for another, moved out, weren't remorseful,or refused therapy, than their actions would speak for themselves, and to protect my own heart, i would file and carry through with a divorce, and move on. yes i would pray aslo, and i would forgive it, but i would not sit by while my spouse was in the arms of another. we can't change people, we can only change ourself, and how we deal with the hurt given us that we did not deserve.i would not hold my breath for someone to change, they must want to change.

I would have a sit down serious talk with him/her. Should this lead to her wanting to leave and be with another you have no other choice but to let her go. If her reply is, she wants to try again with you then that would be up to you. You both should go into counseling together.

It would depend on my reason for marrying him, if I married him for [] I would []:

1] money - stay in the marriage
2] love - talk it over and hope we could work things out

If I had stop having sex with him then I would not care that he cheated - I would leave him
