I have a 50 or so inch mitsubishi big screen tv, the power comes on fine and i can here soemthihg kick on(or off) it sounds like and the audio is fine but there's absolutly nothing on the screen , no snow or anything,.
The guy who owned it before siad that for about a year when he'd turn the power on sometimes the video wouldnt come on but if he shut it off and turned it back on then it would come on most of the time but finally after over a year of this he turned it on and off for awhile and still no video so he just got rid of it.
anyone have any ideas of what this might be and how to fix it besides taking it to a tv repair specialist.

check the cables, it's probably gone though if you bought it used and the guy you got it from said it is "it is having problems."

It may still be under warranty. Do a search on Google to see if there's a bulletin board with people discussing this problem.
