The purpose of a persuasive essay is to show others and make them see how your viewpoint is the best. The best way for someone to do this is to find a topic that they care about. There are plenty of controversial issues as well as issues that arent. The main point is to be able to provide solid support as to why people should believe the same way you do. You can always find evidence to support what you believe. Good luck and just think of something that you believe in that others may not.

2. Get a standpoint (a thesis) to support throughout the essay. This is the point you will be trying to make
3. Find evidence. Quotes from professionals, statistics, etc, that prove your point
4. Elaborate on your evidence
5. Be sure to have at LEAST 4-5 paragraphs
6. Remain professional throughout

Well firstly you need to choose a topic that you feel strongly about eg: free range eggs. Then you have to use persuasive language and second person to keep the audience involved.

well i can't really help you write the speech, but i can give you some good advice: write about stuff that bothers you and give the readers/listeners the reasons WHY they bother you. like talk about how fake friends could be, or talk about the errors that your country has[high gas, stupid president, taxes,etc]. you have to talk about things that people can understand and FEEL. you want people to believe everything that you are writing about. so, i hope this helps. i'm in the 9th grade and i'm taking English I Honors; so i know what its like. we have to recite the whole Martin Luther King speech next semester.

well if you r trying to find a topic just do something that u want to persuade somebody when I had to do a persuasive speech I did mine on why people should learn another language and just persuaded people to learn another language and stuff just find an interesting topic
