i am a long haul trucker, i delivered many loads of fiberglass insulation. the way i kept it off my skin and to remove it from my skin was to cover my skin with baby powder. then take a dry rag or brush and brush the power and fiberglass from your pours. WATER WILL ONLY SINK THE GLASS INTO YOUR SKIN FARHTER cause severe itching.
it is a good idea to cover all exposed skin with powder before working with fiberglass to keep it out in the first place.

I've heard it from other sources that the best way, is to take a cool shower after any contact with fiberglass. The cool water will close the pores of your skin, so that it makes fibreglass keep from entering the epiderm as easily. I don't know how to remove it, since anything rubbed over the surface can cause the fiberglass to possibly bury deeper into your skin.

using tape and "pulling" the glass out ouf your skin...the fiberglass should pull out as you lift the tape off...
When working with fiberglass I have heard that coating the skin with a heavy layer of talcum powder helps stop the fiber glass from entering the skin and stops this fiberglass itchy's..

U wont like this.. specially if you are hairy... use tape... duct tape works real good.. put a piece of tape over the area that has the fiberglass on it.. then rip that puppy off! yeah, its gonna hurt... but it gets the little buggers out.

I have heard you can rub pantyhose on your skin to remove fiberglass. Otherwise, a cold shower usually works.

always wash off with cold water. hot water opens the pores.

dont rub it off (that will rub it into your skin and cause more damage) - take a shower.
