I have an HP Pavilion ze4947wm. It presently has an Intel Celeron M 320 Processor, which runs at 1.3 GHz. Would it be possible to upgrade the processor in a notebook like this? I've upgraded RAM and hard drive with no problem, and I would like to upgrade the CPU if possible.

Yes you could upgrade, I am pretty sure you could go as high as the Pentium M 765 at 2.1GHz, but you of course should check to make sure, but I am pretty sure that processor would work.

You can't replace a processor on a motherboard. First, it is hard to reach and you might damage any components during the process. Once you choose a laptop with a certain processor, you can neither upgrade or replace it. The only hardware accessible are memory and hard drive. If you're planning on improving the performance of your laptop, I suggest that you add more RAM and include more storage space. Otherwise, just buy a new laptop with more powerful specs.
