Men...Im way picky.
Case in point: You always see the super hot chick with the ugly guy or the fat guy.
Maybe I just notice that cuz Im checking out the hot chick? lol

Men are. Ok, women are "Particular" about who they want. They want just the basics so to speak....manners, confidence, secure, responsible......Women seem to "Settle" for the basics because guys dont have such a good rep when it comes to women.
But guys on the other hand, we need a mate who can be Wonder Woman. We dont even have a description for this girl.....therefore a woman could cook, clean, be an excellent homemaker....and she still wouldnt meet our standards for that person who we'd give up our selfish ways for.
Guys are more picky.

Thrughout the years I've noticed that neither men nor women are more picky than the other. Divorce rate is about the same!

I think the answer to that is pretty equal in general and let it be known that men are just as selective as women if looking for a long=term relationship. It depends upon what kind of qualities we look for in our partners and so we are all diverse in our tastes I guess and that changes with age, experiences and tastes.

It is not a question of being picky, Marriage is a life time commitment, too including raising children together for 18 to 21 years and for ever after being parents.
People should really be more careful about whom they take there clothes off for.

I think men are pickier when it come to looks especially if you are a good looking guy, then you have more of an option to be picky. I think guys who are average are looking more for a nice girl who will accept them for who they are. As for women, most look for everything we want: looks, strong, security,being treated like we're special, trust, smart, etc.... So I think women are harder to please than men.

Give me a break! Men sleep with anything with a vagina! Women are extremely picky. I have guide-lines myself.
