It's hard to know for sure, I run mobile phone checks through for customers at work all day. Every network has different credit scoring methods, in our expereince the easiest networks to pass on in the UK are 3, Orange or Virgin.

the question is....have you had one before?

I had no credit before I had bad credit...and the two providers likely to give you a phone, provided you haven't had one with them before, are tmobile and sprint. Both put some restrictions as to how much your bill can run up, but, tmobile gave me a phone with no credit and didn't require a depost, and after i defaulted on that, sprint gave me one.

you could also go monthly-prepaid which requires a credit card in some cases...which is solved by picking up a Green Dot prepaid card of somesort...

but yeah, you're proably going to wind up paying a large deposit. a company will give you a phone if you're willing to pay them a large amount upfront.

In my opinion, I would advise you not to bother with a contract phone. I had a contract phone, and my experience is that they are just interested in getting as much money out of you as possible. When you sign up, you are signing for a one year contract. (Or that is what they lead you to believe). Just before your yearly contract has expired, they require you to cancel it in writing. But be warned, you have to give them a full months notice. I mistakenly wrote to them a week before my contract was up and ended up having to pay for an extra month. They always send you texts offering you deals. And they do all they can to talk you out of ending the contract. It is very difficult to get them to allow you to go on to an alternative such as pay as you go. It is so much easier just to get pay as you go, then at least you will know where you stand and will be in control. All the best! :o)

visit Walmart and purchase absolutely one of those $15 phones. they are prepaid (in basic terms about $15 each and every 3 months). i appreciate mine. more effective minutes are somewhat more effective yet i have not in any respect gone over. Wait, I in basic terms realized, you'll want a mastercard to pay your bil. Oh nicely. i tried. And that folk is why the wealthy get richer, and the negative get poorer. he will finally end up paying $seventy 5 / month with a wide deposit.

hi,

you will most probably have to pay a deposit to the network which will be refunded after about 6 months as long as you have made all payments on time etc. look at this website, it has some good deals and I have used it myself, very reliable. www.mobiledealz.co.uk

The only way I know is to leave a deposit if you can afford to do so. The deposit can be anywhere from $100 to $1000! Yikes!

You can still get one but you will probably have to make a big deposit.
