That's easy, stat-wise, team-wise it's Shawn Marion.
He plays on one of the highest scoring teams in the league, which means he will get his assists and points.
He almost always gets steals and block shots on every game. Check his stats in the last 3 years, I dont lie, and why should he stop?
He plays most of the minutes in that team(more oppurtunity to get stats). And he can shoot the 3. He has good free throw percentage and field goal percentage. Can you say those things with Lebron or Kobe or Wade?
Nope.
Marion is the safe way to go bro.

Depending on your draft order, I would go with LBJ as your first pick. He brings a whole lot at a young age (only 22)(31 ppg, 6 rpg, 6 apg, 1 spg, near 1 bpg, 48% FG, 75% FT, couple of 3's). Basically, he can light up a scoreboard every night, so he's a consensous #1 pick. You can select from these other if you can't get LBJ:
-Kevin Garnett: Despite the lack of threes, he can contribute all-around for a big man and a better supporting cast (Mike James, Randy Foye, Ricky Davis) should put a stellar year for him (20 ppg, 12 rpg, 6 apg)
-Shawn Marion: The Matrix should benefit with 2-time MVP Steve Nash running the show and the return of Amare Stoudamire should get some pressure off Marion, which mean another all-around season (18 ppg, 9 rpg, 1.0 spg, 1.0 bpg, 48% FG, 80% FT, 1.2 TO).
-Dirk Nowitzki: Forget that he collapse in the NBA Finals and think about the 20 ppg and 9 rpg he's going to post this season, along with a couple of threes and good shooting percentage. Basically, he's a taller and better version of Ray Allen with the same suporting cast from the NBA Finals.
-Gilbert Arenas: Forget the groing issue, the former 2nd round pick is already excelling as the best PG (sorry Nash), as he can score big time and pass also with everything a PG need to do (withing exception with the 3.0 TO).

I would actually go with Shawn Marion. Lebron is a very good pick, but I think Marion is even more well-rounded. He was close to leading the league in steals and rebounds, gets over a block a game, a three a game, and over twenty points. I suppose it depends on wether you want to build a strong rebounding and inside team, or more of an assists and threes team. Marion and LeBron are both great picks though, and it's up to you which one, but definitely one of those two.

Shawn marion was the best statistically last year despite all of the commotion with lebron
lebron is good but he hurts in ft% and turnovers while marion dominates every category except assists

I'd go with Marion, Kobe, or LBJ. All three are safe picks and can't go wrong with either of them.
