I was induced after being two weeks late. I had to have an emergency c-section because my love's heart rate was too low. Everything turned out perfect for my baby, but I am not quite the same:) My sister was induced and had a perfect delivery and everything else; no c-section.
It is just the luck of the draw. You should do anything to insure the safety of your precious baby:)

I did. I was induced at 38 weeks because of polyhydramnios--I had too much amniotic fluid, the doctors were afraid of everything if I went into labor on my own. They said I was at risk of placental abruption, cord prolapse, uterine prolapse, uterine rupture, etc. They suggested many times that I have a c-section rather than risk all of those complications. I chose to labor, was induced. The baby was not tolerating contractions well throughout the whole experience and I never progressed beyond 2-3 cm dilated in 24 hours. I gave up and had the c-section. And that's what it felt like--giving up. When they made the incision, the doctors actually caused an abruption and I was lucky my daughter was born healthy and screaming.

I had to be induced because I was overdue and the baby was getting too big. After being in labour for about 10 hours, his heartrate went way too low, so I had an emergency c-section. The cord was wrapped around his neck twice, but all ended well. The only thing I didn't like was that it had to be so fast, they had to put me under general anaesthetic, so I didn't see my baby for an hour!
I've known many women who have been induced, and their deliveries were normal.

I was induced at 40 weeks, because I was so big and miserable, and the Dr said that it was best.. They gave me pitocin and antibiotics to start me off b/c I had Group B strep this was around 7am, he broke my water at around 10am.. A few hours went by and the contractions got stronger, so I asked for an epidural-which was great by the way, except I don't like the numb feeling. Anyway, I was in labor till about 10 that night, and then I started pushing, even though I wasn't fully dialated. I pushed for about 2 hours and made no progress, so the Dr decided to turn the epi down a bit so I could feel myself push.. well he wound up cutting it off completely, and he was still giving me pitocin, so I had no drugs and a full stream of pitocin!! I was freaking dying!!! Well another hour and a half went by and still no progress, by then my body had already been through so much I was starting to run a fever and Jr still wasn't moving, and to be honest it felt like he was backing up, b/c when I went in he was so far dropped I had to wear my pants so low that my pubic hairs were showing! So it's not necessarily and emergency c-section so they take their time to get me to the OR and even more time to get the drugs back in me, I was in tears the whole way there. When I finally got to the OR they strapped me down on the table-I'm glad because I was in so much pain, I could hardly lay straight more less lay still... so I made it very clear to them that I was in a hell of a lot of pain, they gave me my epidural, drugs in my IV and gas!! And at 110 that morning I had my beautiful baby boy-he was 9 1/2 lbs, head was 14 1/4 in and he was 21 inches long!! Wonder why I couldn't push him out!!! Anyway, it was one of the worst experiences of my life, and the recovery was horrible because I had already been in labor for so long, it just made it that much harder to heal.. It was 2 months before I could wear bikini panties again.. But Jr did not want to come out, if I would have waited to go into labor naturally I'm sure he would have been around 10-11 lbs.. But that was my story, hope I didn't scare you...

Yes
My son was induced and 2 hours later the C section was done.
They said that he wrapped the cord around him and they had to do it.
In the end my ex wife was glad about the c section and she was moving about in just 2 days.
Most people that I know wanted natural births but I think that the C section was easier.

This happened to me. I was induced, had 40 hours of labour - followed by an emergency c section.
not so much fun but the results were worth it!
