Its about the baby having fun and not the candy. If the child can get the who "Trick or Treating" thing than its ok. The babys 1 year old though. Sure you don't want the candy and thats it?

I take my children trick or treating, including the baby. I don't collect candy for the baby, but I still love to show him off! But it doesn't bother me, I love giving out candy to anyone, including adults and older kids...as long as they are in costume. I LOVE Halloween!

yeah but it's so cute. My baby is 10 months old and I am taking him trick or treating. The pictures are so cute and it's a way for them to experience new things. Just don't keep them out too late.

Nobody minds babies trick or treating, but what really irks me is when parents dress up and actually have the nerve to hold out their bag for candy!!!

I think parents of newborns are so excited for the childs first halloween, they do not even realize about the candy. Do not be so cynical, it is one day a year buy candy and give it out to anyone who comes

I hear what you're saying, but I love to see the little ones, some are so darn cute! If it really bothers you, what about buying some travel size packs of baby wipes or disposable bibs to put in their baby's candy sacks, mom & dad can't eat that!

No that's what I like to see. I give out suckers so the child can eat them. You have to buy candy that babies of eating age can eat. It's their first halloween. They want to show the baby off.
