I thought my husband was outside raking leaves, but he came in to get a drink and I was on the phone with my sister and he heard me telling my sister that I thought he was being a meanie to me yesterday. He came in the room and my heart just about stopped! I had to get off the phone and he told me that because I called him a name I would have to sleep in my own bed in the nursery with the baby. In me and my husbands large master bedroom we have a king size bed and then he has a small single bed for me in the corner to sleep in when I am on my period. He says he doesn't want to sleep with an unclean woman, but atleast he is in the room with me. Now he set up the single bed in the nursery and says I have to sleep there for a month. He knows I am scared to sleep without another adult in the room in the dark. It's always been like this since I was little. My older sister slept in my room with me a lot when I was growing up and then when she left my mom would let me sleep with her.

Ok, so you have about 20 questions you've asked now about your dominating husband and his crazy ways. You're obviously making this up to get people outraged at this horrible man who probably doesn't exist. I hope you're having a lot of fun.

And in the event you're telling the truth, I think the punishment is too soft. He should have shoved that rake somewhere on you!

Your husband needs to grow up. How immature can he be. First of all being on your period doesn't make you unclean. I'm shocked that you would even allow him to "make" you sleep in another room. I'm male and have been with the same woman for 20 years and we have had our share of disagreements but I would never do I have the right ot tell her where she can sleep or anything else for that matter. It sound as though your husband is a very controlling person. I can't tell you how to handle the situation because I don't know all the extenuating circumstances, however, if he is acting like this already it will probably only get worse. Good luck.

um. Did you know about his "unclean" rule before you got married? or is this something that is new. it sounds like he is very controlling and insecure. hes treating you like a child and you need to stand up. he cant "make" you sleep anywhere. He can tell you where he wants you to sleep and then you can either follow it or not. It really sounds like to me that he has issues and you guys should talk to someone. Guys like this start off with this kind of behavior and the next thing you know you are in a domestic abuse situtaion. dont let this get out of control. nip it in the bud now.

Honey, you need to get away from this man. He is controlling you, don't you know that?????? I have NEVER heard about a husband not sleeping with his wife because of her being on her period!!!!!!!!!! This is the craziest thing I have ever heard of in my life. This man doesn't love you. He wants to control you and have you do what he wants you to do when HE wants you to do it. Honey, you DO NOT deserve to be treated this way!! This IS emotional abuse. Dont' you realize that????? Get OUT of this marriage NOW. It's only going to get worse for you, believe me. You are like a slave to this man. Call your sister and tell her to come and get you and get away from him. If you don't, you will FOREVER regret staying with this man.

You need to get the heck away from this guy. If this is how he treats you how do you anticipate him raising your child? You are very young, and it sounds as though he is taking advantage of your innocence and using it to control you. Talk to your family and friends, get a support group and LEAVE. You are married and have a child with this man and he has a problem with your period? If you were to get terminally sick, what would he do then? You deserve better, as does your child.

sweet heart, you really need to get out of this situation. things are only going to get worse, and regardless if your afraid to sleep alone or not, this is not a way for a man to treat a woman. and he makes you sleep on this bed when you have your period?? because he don't want to sleep with a dirty woman? he needs to go back to school and take a class on the woman's body. having your period is not dirty. i suspect that before you met him you were not involved in very many relationships, and therefore you are naive.he is using that to his advantage. please get out of this relationship.you don't want your child growing up thinking that this is normal, because it is not. talk to your sister tell her what is going on, and ask if maybe you and the baby could come stay with her. get out !!!!!!!!!!

You need to seek some counseling. Seriously. Until then, get a night light. I wouldn't want to sleep with any man who was that controlling.
