At first glance it is easy to say yes the world is getting worse.We cannot change the whole world but we can try to make a difference one person at a time.We do not have to become cynical about the world or those around us. Horrible things happen everyday which would try anyone's belief in the goodness of man.I think most people share common values of love of family,honesty,decency etc.We cannot standby and watch life and not get involved.We cannot afford to be mere spectaters we must do our part,however small, to make the world more positive.There is a saying" Evil flourishes where good men refuse to do anything."

Yeah, it's what's called the Kali yuga. There are essentially 4 yugas where things get worse each time. The fourth was golden, the third was not as bad, the second was worse because then there was a big war between the Kauravas and Pandavas. This time, where do you want me to begin? World War II, World War I, Gulf War, War against America and so on. Even the nuclear testing going on is a sign of the Kali yuga.

The world is not getting worse, there is just more people doing the things that they shouldn't be doing. Also, the internet has made it possible for us to see or hear every major breaking news story, and when that news is typically bad, it makes us feel as if things are worse than they are

the world is going to the dogs. As the community now disregards family values and embraces the dollar, you would have people who would rather make money than save the poor. THe media has a lot to do with it. Television that show more acts of sex to young kids, the media saying who ever is not a christian, catholic, muslim, or whatever should go to hell for not conforming with society. what is a modern family now? The list can go on... Plus people will be more worried about money and this is a worrying prospect. what good is money if you are dying? I would love to remain optimistic here but what can you do if people follow the government as role model who base money as their religion. wars make money, killing people make money... what happened to human decency or is that long gone...
if people can do so many things like to go to the moon, why can't people go to great heights and save humanity from itself?

The world is getting worser or more so a majority of people in the world, we all have a choice to take the good path or the bad path. I recommend people read what the message from Chief Arvol Looking Horse from this year.
