I have no recovery disks.
but.. i do have a hard drive named HP_RECOVERY D:.
what does that drive do? if that drive is used as a system recovery, can anybody please explain how they do it??
i am in need of answers, thank you.

Yes look under start for hp tools it should be there if not turn off your PC and when you turn it back on a black screen should appear, hit F10 several times and it will do a full system application recovery,It will make your PC like it was the day you bought it,It will take out all the things you have downloaded like yahoo,msn etc, But that is what you do But look for hp tools first under start /all programs Good luck

your have a . hp -tools system recovery set up . hit on start / hp -tools - recovery place a cd (r) in the drive then creat an hp . system recovery cd. creat 3 of them as back up .

DO NOT MESS WITH YOUR D DRIVE......IT CAN KILL YOUR COMPUTER....if u need to restore it when u turn it on.....just press f10......or go to start..acceroies...system tools..system restore...and pick a date....
