The single prepositional phrase in that sentence is "in the future." So the word "future" is the object of a preposition ('in") within that sentence.

Band is undertaking,as 2 verbs do no longer come merely after the different . In ( the band decicded.....) decide for is a verb which many times comes after undertaking,or any opposite direction around undertaking consistently comes until now the verb.
