Easy. Hold your on/off button down until the computer completely shuts off. It's not the best way to do it, but sometimes you have to.

When you start or shut down your system, leave it alone! Do not pull the plug. System addressing is taking place and sometimes the system has been known to take one or two hours.

Be patient! Leave it alone. If you do not have by the next day, then pull the plug. But you may have to wait again

try pressing ctrl key alt key and delete down at the same time,brings up th windows task laucher, you can do it from there okay.

You should run scandsk some programs do not close. scandsk will help put them in order.
