it gets stuck and it wont open so i have to go for the violence and hit my computer so it will open but i do this other thing too i have to leave a cd inside of the cd-dvd burner and like that it opens like nothign but if i dont leave acd or disk wahetver it wont open can somebody exlain me why is th is happeneing?

Don't feel bad, I have 2 out of my 12 drives that do the same thing. Otherwise they work fine.
BUT
Forget the violence! Unless they are very old drives, there should be a small hole under the tray. Insert a straight wire into the hole, (a straightened paperclip works pretty good!), when you hit resistance, about 1/2 inch in, push harder. This will "manually" unlock the tray and open it about 1/8 inch, then you can use the wire or a small screwdriver to open it far enough to pull out with your fingers.
Like the other answer says, you can replace the drive, and probably should. (So should I, but I'm too busy.)

Well, hitting the computer isn't my idea of "fixing" the problem, although I've considered it from time to time! Why it is happening is you may have had a Cd/DVD label come off inside of the DVD burner and only managed to remove part of it. Buying a new DVD burner maybe the simplest thing for you to do. Wal-mart has them at a reasonable price. The proper way to open the drawer in the burner is take a paperclip and unbend it. There is a wee little hole in the front faceplate of the burner, insert the straightened clip into the wee little hole and feel for a latch. That will open the drawer.
