If you have taken it for iron deficiency/energy level, did it work for you? How long before you saw a difference? Thanks for any info!

A little more info....I have Pernicious Anemia, which just means I don't have the ability to use the iron in my diet/supplements without taking supplemental B12. The shots have not worked for me because I just hate sticking myself. Now I was thinking of trying the sublingual B12. Thanks for correcting me guys, I knew it wasn't "new" but I guess I typed new because it's new to me and getting more publicity these days. Thanks to all.

Yes, it's not so new.

It is very good to take for a longer, regular period of time. It might give you a little pick me up, but it is much more for long term use.

It is very good for your nervous system.

You should be taking vitamin B-12 along with folate, they work together. Sublingual is not new, it just dissolves under the tongue and then you swallow it. There is no difference in sublingual and taking a tablet. Vitamin B-12 is difficult to absorb as it requires a substance produced by the stomach called Instrinic factor to absorb it. If someone cannot take it orally then vitamin B-12 is injected. One more thing about B-12 it is reabsorbed from the gut so a clinical deficiency may actually take years. And pernicious anemia can be caused by either a lack of B-12 or folate so be sure to take 800 micrograms of folate daily, along with the B-12 tablets.

It's not new.. it's been around forever...

It's not really for iron deficiency.. but it does tend to give you a lil boost of energy, right after you take it.. and wears off fast..

Not a caffene type boost, just a natural boost..

Yes it worked for me, as said, short term

so, personally sublingual doesn't work for me. I work at a health food store that sales lots of b12. try the tablets if the sublingual doesn't work. good luck
