Question:The ratio of an angle to its supplement is 3:7. Find the ratio of the angle to its compliment.

How do I solve this type of problem? I know it has something to do with proportions, but I'm not sure how...

Use the first statement to find a from a/(180-a) = 3/7
I got a = 54 deg

Then the second ratio is 54/(90-54) = 5/4
