The college that I attend is notorious for not giving the students an outlet for their opinions. We do not have any student organizations that are supported by the University. I would like to give the students a body to go to in order to give them the voice they deserve. The University that I attend is an adult institution that caters to those that are returning to college to finish their degrees. This will be a government that will hopefully let the administration know what the students feelings are on certain issues on campus. This is very important, it is not a question of what does yours not do, but a question of what you would like yours to do.

I think the student government is pointless as the university can reverse any of their decisions anways.

absolutely nothing. They are a body of self-important individuals who accomplish nothing.
