I HAVE FOUND AT LEAST 10 CELL PHONES AND THE ONLY PHONE CALL I MADE WAS TO RETURN THE PHONES. ALL I GOT WAS A THANK YOU, HO! AND ONE TIME A 20 DOLLAR BILL BUT NO COMPLAINTS, SO HOPEFULLY THEY ARE AS HONEST AS ME GOOD LUCK.

Well heres another way of putting it. If you lost your phone and then you figured where it was and asked them to keep a hold of it until a certain day, do you think they would use it in the full knowledge that they knew the owner was coming back for it?

If you are so paranoid about it then you should have made a special trip to go back and get it the next day & if they don't make any calls then they certainly should now after they read your question. Uh oh, best check the bill!

None, I would think they would just return it to you, they have been honest enough to say they have it, so I suggest you just pick it up and DO NOT look to see how many calls has been made as soon as you touch it, that would be embarrassing for all of you, and if want you can always contact the phone company and have the number blocked until you have recovered it, you are very lucky you found it my kids have lost 4 or 5 and we have never seen them again.

make a clear agreement between the two of you as to how and when you will pick your phone and close the deal. thats enough call and dont irritate them calling every now and then till you get hold of your phone. after the deal, call them about 30 minutes before the agreed time and date that you are coming and will see them soon....try to bring a little something, i.e. cake, etc as a gesture of gratitude for their time and taking care of your phone

well.. if they say they're going to hold it for you.. then they seem honest enough to not make any calls... i've lost my phone.. and called it.. and the person said they'll wait in a certain location until i come back.. came back and they were not there, and never answered my phone again, had to have it turned off and get a new one...

I would't worry so much about the number of calls, worry more about how long they were talking to the relatives in India!
