I'd have to pick Angus. he inspired me to start playing guitar 27 years ago.

I think they're referring to Eric Clapton and Angus Young (of AC/DC) This is the easiest question in the world. Slash is the best guitarist since Jimi Hendrix. Although Clapton is technically incredible, his playing doesn't convey the emotion of Slash and Hendrix. But all these guitarists are great. Don't forget Jimmy Page of Led Zeppelin and Stevie Ray Vaughn. They're definitely in the top 10, as well. I'm personally a big fan of John Frusciante (Red Hot Chili Peppers) as well.

Depends on your type of music. Angus and Slash are both from metal and I would choose Slash. Can't really compare him to Eric Clapton and Santana because those two are legends. For what I listen to it would be Slash as favorite, still wears his top hat. better than Angus and his schoolboy outfit.

Of the four, I'd say Carlos Santana. But my favorite guitarist of all time would be Steve Howe (from Yes and later Asia and GTR).
