I have 2 piercings on each earlobe, and one at the top. Do the holes close up? I've had the ones on my earlobe for about 6-7 years and the one at the top for about a year. I know the one at the top would be easier to close, but how long until it becomes permanent? & would I be able to close the ones in my earlobe? Thanks in advance!!

neither the ones in my earlobes or my cartlidge has ever even come close to closing up, and i have left earings out of them for a long time. i dont think the ones in your ears will grow up.

no longer donning jewelry for a protracted time basically shrinks the hollow, it won't make it close thoroughly if the hollow is quite healed, and it won't continually decrease the hollow it relies upon on quite some diverse factors. first of all how large is the hollow? Is it common earring length? or Did you stretch your ears? i flow to assume common length hollow, the least complicated thank you to get them to close as a consequence is to get them re-pierced by a professional piercer with a unmarried use hollow needle at a touch greater desirable length in the right comparable place, then do no longer positioned jewelry in, instead have the piercer supply up the bleeding and positioned bandages over the two facets of the ear. the hollow could enhance closed besides the undeniable fact that there isn't any assure. the different decision is attractiveness surgical technique. if your ears have been stretched then you definately will could have an earlobe reconstruction achieved by a plastic wellbeing care professional.

I have 3. Mine have closed up a few times. I just do a couple shots & jam one through. Probably not wise, but effective. If you want them to stay closed, just don't use them. They'll always be visible.

It also depends on the gauge.
