The actually TRUE preppy is Lacoste, Ralph Lauren, J. Crew. Abercrombie and AE is NOT preppy. Emphasize NOT. People think they are for the stupidest reasons. lol. But those stores/brands are the original preppy, and nobody can change that. Thanks for the points, dahling.

yea yea yea american eagle, aerpostale, hollister, abercrmobie are all "popular" preppy stores but only for the name. ive gone into an ae store once, and all they had were tshirts with their label printed on them.
but i dress sorta preppy, and i go to stores like deb, ect., where they actually have some stylinsh pieces. also department stores sometimes have nice clothes, like kohls.
