Unless you intentionally defrauded them, you can't go to jail. If you take a pay-day loan, they'll just charge you millions of fees and interest and harrass you and your boss and everyone related to you until you get so depressed that you wish you never heard of them. Then in order to get out, you'll do it all over again with another pay-day loan company.

I decided not to use the payday loan when my work email address was flooded with over 5000 spam emails a week. I realized that these were not the most integritable people to be dealt with. Then I start recieving charges on my card for $40.00 a month from some company I've never heard of. I simply applied for the loan but never accepted it. So how was I scammed into paying for other services??? I had a hell of a time figuring that one out. I found out that they never give people the loans unless they have a terrible track record of never paying. When you agree to the terms, you agree to a contract that says that YOU will agree to settle out of court if there is a dispute, but THEY can settle in court... kind of scandalous, huh? They're good at deceiving people. But I"m better at catching it. Pay the loan as fast as you can or you'll be screwed. don't screw arounf, just get it payed. You're in over your head with these people.
You were supposed to pay them back the day you got your paycheck. that was the point of a "pay day" loan.

If you decide to do a payday loan, only borrow the amount you need and DON'T pay the minimum! Pay back as much as possible and refinance the rest. The one I went to you could refinance up to three times but then you had to pay the rest back. It also helps if you make a payment before your due date- you save on some of the charges that you accrue. the only bad thing is it becomes a vicious cycle because by the time you pay it all back, you have to borrow again. I just paid off the rest just last week and I will only do again in case I am really need some cash fast.

I'm a manager of a pay day loan business. To answer you questions... Yes, some people do get in over their heads and can't pay the loan back. But they aren't harassing you. They only want what is theirs... the money you barrowed. You signed the contracts and agreed to the repayment of the money. This is they will get a lawyer and your credit could be really crappy after everything is said and done.

They'll never stop! My suggestion to you is pay them back AS SOON AS YOU CAN and NEVER EVER GO BACK THERE!!!!! Do you got me????
Those places are a bloody plague on society and should be SHUT DOWN! Not only that, these people should be investigated because I can't possibly see how they can legally charge as much interest as they do. I got caught in a vicious cycle with one place and it took me a year to shake it free. I spit on them and I hope they all go out of business and right into jail!
Every last employee of those places should be ashamed for defrauding thousands of hard working people of what little money they have. These places are just absolutely CRIMINAL, A PLAGUE ON SOCIETY!!!! I hope some of you owners & workers are reading this and that you’re just sick with yourselves; because I personally know of many people who've lost their "shirts" over you con artists. YOU'RE ALL CRIMINALS IN MY BOOK ... CRIMINALS!!!!!!
I wish you the best of luck ... pay them quickly ... never go back! This is the best advice you'll ever get when it comes to these places. TRUST ME!
