When I was a teen, I never realized how my life would be twenty years later. I would have choosen to go down different paths in my life. I would have planned to go a different way. I did not expect the trials I would be put through. My Greatest experience was being married to a Great Guy !!

Nope, not at all, but just because it didn't go in the direction I pictured it, doesn't mean I'm not happy.
I had a baby sooner than expected so it altered my plans a bit, but I've never looked at the situation negatively. Which being a mother at 22 was the last thing I would have pictured, but I couldn't see it any other way now.
These are the cards I was dealt and I'm playing them as best I can.

Yes, it is exactly as I planned. I was even able to travel for 3 years. But I am with my high school sweetheart. I raised his daughter. I am a volunteer for several places. I still travel but it is only 420 miles total once a week which gets us out of town. I play pool. I make and sell jewelry. I tan rattlesnake hides. I love life and do pretty much what I want. I am my husbands caregiver as well. We own our home and we live in a quiet town. I wouldn't want anything else. The only thing I miss is my mom being alive. I lost her in 1982 and dad in 1987. I was really starting to get to know my dad when he died suddenly.

No, and I don't think I ever thought about anything bad or unfortunate or any of the other encounters of life, thought about just wonderful, secure happy things....that is why being a teenager is a wonderful time in your life, when you know enough, but not enough and gets you slowly prepared for LIFE.

I worked all through school and college for a goal I set when I was very young. Then as I was just about to embark on my dream career, I met my husband and let my dream go. The most amazing experiences have been going through the process of adopting my two daughters from China.

No. It's different from what I expected, but it is better in many ways.
My best experiences among many, have been being a mom and being able to have an outlet for my imagination and creativity through the arts and the theater.

Nobody expects their life to turn out the way it does and some of the most important experiences are ones we don't appreciate until we're old.

No definitely not but to be perfectly frank, I had some really ridiculous expectations.
I haven't had many great experiences but I've had moments where I felt like anything was possible or where I knew I was doing what is right.
