By shadows, I think you mean tumors in the breast. Not all tumors are cancer, some are just lumps that grow, but do not grow like cancer. They usually do a test called a biopsy to see if it is really cancer. I believe you may have more tests to do before you know what is going on. Why are you looking at the darkest fear first? You have a fine lady that you love very much and this is good because she will need you to be close and strong. She is also afraid. When you have more answers from the doctors, you will know better where you are going with this. But tonight you have a live, warm, lovely woman in your arms, why is your heart and mind on death when you are holding life? Tomarrows answers and troubles will come when they are ready, not when you call them. Be with your lady, and IF dark trouble comes, it will find you together. Nothing is stronger then that.

It can be treated. She can be cured. Her breasts might be condsiderabally smaller considering all the tissue and such that will be taken out, but it's for her own sake.
If it gets too bad, than she will most likely live for quite a few years, and by then, she just might have been cured. Depends on how old the patient is, and how much the cancer cells have built up. And why her? A question noone can anwser. Bad things happen to good people all of the time, don't blame god, and don't blame yourself.

It's understandable that you are concerned about the life of someone who has breast cancer. Breast cancer is not necessarily a "death sentence" anymore. It depends on the stage of the cancer and whether or not it has spread. Many women are successfully treated and go on to live long and healthy lives. I am a 12-year breast cancer survivor, and I had lymph nodes that tested positive for cancer as well.
You didn't say who this person is, but if it is a relative or very close friend, perhaps she will allow you to go to the doctor with her and you can ask the doctor questions about your concerns. I hope all works out well!

We don't always know why certain people get ill and others don't. Take care of yourself as well, this can become a very difficult situation for all involved. God bless.
Understanding Cancer
About Breast Cancer
Breast cancer affects more than 217,000 people a year in the United States alone. It is a serious disease that can be treated by a team of healthcare professionals with different specialties. Members of a healthcare team might include a surgeon, radiation oncologist, medical oncologist, radiologist, pathologist, oncology nurse and social worker, among others. Not everyone with breast cancer should receive the same treatment. Your particular medical situation will determine the type of treatment you receive. Information presented on this Web site can help you and your doctor decide which treatment is best for you.
This information is designed to help patients and their families understand breast cancer and treatment options. It is not meant to take the place of discussions with your doctor. It is very important for you and your family to discuss your condition and treatment with your healthcare team.

Ask the doctor if it is bad. Usually doctors can give a prognosis. The prognosis usually depends on how big the tumor is, how early it was detected, and whether the cancer has spread to another part of the body.
I hope I helped.

Breast cancer can be treated and there is an excellent survival rate. Don't despair. There's always hope. Hopefully hers was found early enough, maybe it hasn't spread. There are all sorts of treatments. Some of them may make her sick. She may get really tired. She's going to need your support. She's going to need all her friends' help.
I'll be thinking of her (and you). Best wishes.

Breast cancer is indeed treatable.. Right now, she will really need your love and support, more than ever... Just let her know you are there for her.
Unfortunately, these kinds of things sometimes happen to some of the most lovely people... We need to keep them in our prayers and have faith. God bless you...

A breast cancer diagnosis does NOT mean she will die.
Many women live a long, long time after breast cancer.
Help her do what her doctor says.
Breast cancer can be cured.
Don't give up.
