Maybe, or from some bacteria-like organism that hitched a ride on a comet many millions of years ago. If I had been born 200 years ago I probably word have believed every word in the bible, as there was no alternative explanation .Now we know better, we have moved on . The bible is full of mythology, just like the ancient Greek Roman and Egyptian creation stories. They firmly believed in those too.
