First of all, you are no longer in Primary or Secondary school - this question should have been posted in University. Give yourself some credit for making it to college!

When you say "i am horrible at math" you are denying yourself any chance of success in this area. Try to be more positive and you will be amazed at what you can achieve. Also, now that you're in college, you should be mature enough to know that your sister is not responsible for your problems. You are the only one who can get yourself through college, and the best way to do it is to actually LEARN the subjects. Every school has a tutoring or help department for people who are having trouble with a class. Ask about this and you can get help without having to deal with the professor. And finally, don't be afraid of your professor - they are human beings too and they want you to pass the class, not fail it.

Don't feel stupid because many people struggle at math. It's a great thing that you can acknowledge the fact that you need help and that you're trying to get it. Sorry but... your sister is being a jerk and if I were you I wouldn't ask her for help anymore. You could settle for your teacher but why not get someone who's in your class to help you? Good luck in your quest to find a good tutor and college in general.
