why not go back to windows 3.11 and internet explorer 3,0 while you are at it?
Seriously, you can go to add remove programs and uninstall it. but guess what? Next thursday, everyone is going to wake up with it right back on because it's coming out as an autoupdate. There will no longer be two internet explorers. just one, version 7.
My advise, give it a chance. it's a far better browser than 6, which is garbage. It's unsecure, leaves you computer wide open to spyware, and will be even more so when microsoft stops patching it every week, which will be VERY soon.
IE 6 is dead. next week, there is no going back. If you hate 7, download firefox, or opera. those will be your only choices.
If it were me, download firefox now, you can have them both on your system if you want, use the one you feel more comfortable with. both of them are light years better than going back to IE 6.
