Your skin will change during your pregnancy. With my new son, I had very dry skin. (I've always had slightly oily skin before.) If the facials are gentle and use topical products (benzoyl peroxide is okay) you shouldn't have a problem. Some acne medicines are absorbed through the skin, and are bad for the baby, so make sure that the products are safe for you to use during pregnancy. (ie avoid salicylic acids, Accutane, Retin-A, and Tetracycline, high vitamin A products). Always consult your health care provider before taking ANY medications during pregnancy, whether prescription or over-the-counter. Just remember how your skin will react maybe different because the increased hormones. Best wishes!

If you are getting the facial done at a spa, let the person know that you are pregnant. The spa should know whether or not the products used will harm your baby.

If you are getting it done at home, call your doctor and ask about the ingredients of the product you are using.

I hope I helped!

Make an asap appointment for the dermatologist. Ask their professional opinion and ask your doctor. Really a professional opinion is best. If not i would suggest not risking it just clean your face and just wait till a little after your baby arrives. Good luck with that and your baby. : )

Yes! Pamper yourself as much as you can! Once the baby comes you won't have a lot of time to-so spoil yourself now!
