Kobe Bryant is the best player in the league for five reasons:
1. Everyone talks about shooting all the time, but since 2004 his assists average has went up every year. last year 4.7 per game
2. With 3 seconds left in the gane who do u want to shoot the ball to win the game? He is still the best player at the end of the game.
3. Outside of maybe Iverson, will there be anybody else that will even come close to 81 points in a game.
4. Despite Odem doing his thing, Kobe lead his team to playoffs with a bunch of bum players.
5. Now he's growing as a leader

The most complete player is Lebron James. For excitement would be Bryant (bit of a ball hog egomaniac though) or Dwayne Wade.
