Yes. The way you ask this question seems like youre trying to make meat-eaters feel bad. If a meat-eater like me can be open minded about vegans and such, maybe you can have the same mentality. It's a natural process of hunting. That's how the world became what it is, by man eating meat. It's history.

Pleasure? No. Sustenance... yes. I do find great pleasure in the consumption of the severed flesh of ripe, juicy vegetables however.

Even vegetables scream when you pull them from the ground. :D
But seriously, I hate it when people say it that way. They fail to remember that the world is more than just Americans and Europeans.
Are you telling me that asians, blacks, hispanics, and native americans should stop eating meat even if it's part of their culture. Are we to forget all those things that involve meat?
If it's okay for them to eat meat, why can't everyone eat meat?

Yes...and I never feel guilty. Birds gotta fly, fish gotta swim and humans gotta eat. I'm guessing your a vegetarian and kudos to you, but don't try to make people feel guilty because they choose to eat meat.
...To each, their own.

unfortunately, yes i have been raised to eat meat. although, i have been thinking hard about becoming a vegetarian lately. keep the eggs, milk, and fish, etc. but cut out the beef, pork, lamb, etc. all moral issues about eating meat aside, it is better for the environment, and ourselves. i dont even want to think about all the hormones that we unwittingly ingest each year....ugh.
