Hi. On Earth it is essentially carbon/oxygen and their chemical relationships. Any other planet may have this same symbiosis or some other, so on Neptune it could also be carbon/oxygen.

Neptune is not capable of supporting life as we know it. Life as we know it requires liquid water and a source of energy (usually the Sun, but not always). Neptune has no liquid water.
