I have the Sims 2, but I lost the first cd. Is there anyway to download the game without it still?

I have everything else that the game comes with. I just CAN NOT find that first cd and I'm scratchin to play it... : /

if you have already installed the game you can download a crack which will allow you to play without a disk.
to get the crack go to gamecopy world.com. just choose a mirror and when the next page loads you will find the game index on the right hand side of the page.. click the [t-z] button and scroll down to the sims 2. after you found the sims it will list all th cracks possible. find one that says "NoCD". download that than replace the original .exe file with the one you just downloaded. put the other file (should look like a comuter screen or something like that) in the sims 2 folder. Now you will be able to play the game with no disk. And you can do that to any other game you want.

WOW! i have the same problem! good news i found out! if you already have it installed, and have a expansion pack installed, You can play on the expansion games cd! great huh?

yeah i dont think u can, i have the same problem i just threw away my # 3 and 4 cds cause i forgot u needed them to install and now im gonna buy it all over again.

if you bought the game you could download it from a peer to peer network or bit torrent burn the disk you are missing to a cd and install it from the copied disk.

or get a no cd patch from (i've never tried it because i have all my cds, so you try it at your own risk)

best thing to do is buy a expansion pack that way you will not need the orginal sims to play.

no afraid not unless one of oyur friends have it ask them for the cds and the code for installing it ...Hope I helped =]
