I had a flash video of some friends and I on my myspace, which had a picture of my friend pushing her boobs together. I'm into photography and I put a picture of me with a fake gun to my head for halloween, and put it on a flyer with my Myspace URL along with some words to get people to go there so I could take their halloween pictures. The school has suspended my friend for the picture I posted of her, and I haven't been to school yet, but Monday I'll be suspended. Do I have a case in court?

Everyone is going on about how I got banned from myspace. I didn't get BANNED FROM MYSPACE and I wasn't accessing Myspace from school. I'm not being suspended for my 'inappropriate pictures' on myspace. I got in trouble for having a picture in school, which is ACCEPTABLE, but they went onto my myspace and saw pictures of me and my friends on there. They suspended me for a bunch of crap and then suspended the girl who was pushing her boobs together. Thats ridiculous. I've been suspended more times than I can remember, its not about that. It's about the school having too much power and not enough boundries. The internet is not their playground.

just let it go. people get suspended all the time. and when your parents want to know why, just explain to them that you were being dumb and posting inappropriate pictures of your friend on the internet and spreading it around the school.

You don't have a case I'm afraid.
You see, it doesn't really matter the intentions were behind it.
What people see is a bunch of minors pushing their boobs together, and holding guns up to their heads. I know, that sounds bad. But that's what they see. Although myspace IS a place for people to express themselves, you have to be careful about what you show on there, especially if you are a minor, because other people will go on there and think the worst. They always do.
For future reference, if you have to have that kind of stuff on there, don't give out you url out for everyone. Or else make it private, and only let a certain few have your url.

probably not, i am sure that what the school suspended you for was promoting your myspace page at school, which has a picture with sexual intent on it. You are free to put in on the web, with in reason. The problem is you were soliciting at school.
Did they say anything about the picture of you and the gun? I would suspect that they would also use that against you.
