Remember back to elementary school when you had to write out decimals, so 2.44 is 2 and 44 hundreths. That means the mixed number is 2 44/100. Reduce the fraction part: 44/100 = 11/25 (divide top and bottom by 4). Your answer: 2 11/25

You should write 44% as a fraction.
(44 over 100)
A mixed number is when a number is over 100%
Ex: 156% would be written as 1 and 56 over 100

44/100 0.44, 22/50, 4/11
Write it as a fraction, I know its hard, but its easier as a fraction not a mixed number.
EASY WAY:
lets just say you want to find 60%,
1. every percentage is out of a 100, so you multiply everything by 1 since its out of a 100. 60x1= 60 or 60%
2.Our if you have out of 20, and trying to find 60%:
divide 100 by 20=5
so you multiply everything by 5 when its out of 20.
The divide 60 by 5= 12.
so thats your answer- 12/20=60%
3. Or if you have 55% and its out of 11.
This time since its an odd number you divde 55 by 11=5
so 5/11=55%- 11x5=55.
*Even-see how much it could go into 100(100 divided by even number)
*Odd divide percentage by denominator(bottom number)
Denominator-Bottom number
Nominator_top number.
So remember all these information.
