Go to college.
There is no guarentee that you will make it into the pros, and or, stay there.
If you truly are a realllly good player, you will be looked at by the professional teams while you are in school, and you will still have an education.
Unless you are a MAJOR player, the money you "might" make will eventually run out and you will need some other kind of career.
Trust me, I know this as a fact.
I've seen all sides of this coin.
My bro in law played pro baseball for 16 years.
Good luck to you :)

I would go to the pros where I can make the big money now. If I go to college and get hurt, my dreams of going pro would be down the drain. If the pros don't work out, college will still be there. Its never too late to go to college. But the opportunity to go pro will not always be there.

I would say college due to the fact you can't play basketball forever. Some players get stuck in the hype and their NBA careers are nothing because they weren't ready. It depends on the player...Carmelo and LJ made good decisions I think. They were ready for the league.
I say try 1 or 2 years of college then go to the NBA.

Go to college because then you would have an education and a future if your sports career doesn't work out.
