$15 for all four days. It's a job and you should be paid.

As much as you can. Do this:
take deli turkey or canned tuna juice and rub it on your between your ankle and your knee also your hands.
go to your neighbors to talk to them about feeding their cats.
While the cats are licking and loving on you, ask the owners how long they have had their cats how much they love them and what would they do if something were to happen to them, what ever you do keep asking them questions about their cats.
Now ask them how much they think it is worth for you to go over and feed their cats TWICE a day? (I love my cats, but when we are gone for four days we will have someone come to the house once to refill the food and change the litter box).
Be sure you have in mind how little you will accept to disrupt your routine and do NOT go below that. It they think it is too high then ask them if they were lying about how much they love their cats.

Don't think that anytime you do a favor for someone, especially your neighbor, that you should get paid... life doesn't work that way.
Be happy if they bring you a tee shirt from their trip. Otherwise, you should do it to be nice.
