there are many ways to kill a snake however caution should always be taken , especially if venomous. The rattlesnake for instnce can jump twice its length and deliver a painfull bite and toxic poison, others may just bite you. One thing all snakes have in common is they are very quick. That said my prefered method is a 12 gauge shotgun. You dont have to get too close and you cant miss. Other guns will also work , aim for the head. Anoth way is to set a trap or to you a knoose. To do this you use a long pole at one end attach a rope to the pole. then screw an eyehook into the pole end and insert the other end of the rope through the eyehole leasve enough slack to form an o shaped knoose. Now take the end of the rope and hold it at the other end of the pole, and work the loop around the snakes head and pull the rope tight. You just caught a snake . Now quickly bash its head in with a rock or chop it off with a shovel. Also any shovel ax machette ect will work but require you to get closer to the snake.

You shouldn't kill a snake because you're scared of it! You should only kill a snake if it's threatening your life. It depends on the snake that you are trying to defeat. If you are trying to defeat a boa constrictor or anaconda that is constricting you, either you or a friend should immediately pour hot water or something alcoholic on the snakes head. The water or alcoholic substance will irritate it's eyes and it will let go of you. You could also try and poke it's eyes and the snake should release you. If it just a snake that is threatening to bite you, you don't need any special tactic. Just walk away! The snake is more afraid of you than you are of the snake.

You realize that the rodents that the snake eats are much more dangerous to you and your family than the snake is. Why would you come into a PETS category and ask about killing something? It is a PETS category as in PETS that people love and keep. If you took some time to understand snakes and how harmless and help full they are you would probably change your mind. But I guess that's human nature to kill things because you don't understand or are too ignorant to try to understand them. Leave the snakes alone. They wont hurt you if you leave them alone.

Don't kill snakes unless they pose a danger to someone. Snakes (both good and bad) kill varmints that we don't want. Most snakes are good. Do you know what kind of snake it is?? If it is a rattle snake or a copperhead, you may should kill it otherwise just run it off.

Don't kill it unless it is biting you or tearing something up. Just run it off. Snakes kill rodents and bugs and stuff, good for your yard.

get a sharp long knife and cut its head off that if you have the guts. Be careful because if it felt threaten it becomes very angry and defensive as a result it might become more wilder.

Kill its by chopping its head of or burning it. If there is one biting you then alcohol will make it release immediately.
